I know I have a best friend I've known since 4th grade (I won't tell how many years that is) and he has just basically stopped talking to us old friends. We all live in the same city now, but he acts as if he never knew us, now that he has a girlfriend. LOL the last time I talked to him about his ways he said "You know how I am when I get a new girlfriend..." I laughed and reminded him they have been together for about 5 years now. It is a good thing when you have a relationship and it still feels new after 5 years. But, why dump your old friends? Oh well I will never understand, but hey you just gotta love'em.. I'm almost 50 years old, and I can truely say I have never been in a relationship where someone loved me for me. (This does not include my family and friends.) The physical and mental can fade and when and if it does then you're stuck realizing you are with someone you don't like or respect. Take the time to find out who you are dating and discover if it is someone you can truly like (not love; that comes easier). Truly liking the person you are with takes your relationship to a whole other level. This is so true.
